Step 1

Start with 12 ounces of coarsely ground coffee, and 7 cups of fresh or filtered water. Add 1 cup of water and 6 ounces of ground coffee into the bottom of the cold brew system container, then slowly pour 3 more cups of water over the grounds. Wait a few minutes, then add the rest of the ground coffee and the last 3 cups of water.

Step 2

Make sure all of the grounds are wet, then steep your coffee grounds for 12 to 24 hours.

Step 3

Remove the stopper and let the coffee concentrate flow into the decanter.

Step 4

To serve, use 1 part coffee concentrate to 3 parts water, milk, or soy. You can adjust the ratios to suit your tastes.

Storage: Once your beans are opened, store them in an airtight container that you keep in a cool, dry place. If you want the beans and your coffee to taste their best, which obviously you do, grind them just before you start brewing.
